A great find! My friends and I were walking around Picadilly late and ran in 20 minutes before close. We were convinced by a businessman who said that it was his third time eating there that week! The portions are generous and the prices are cheap. They also put much more meat and vegetables in the dishes than many of the other Thai restaurants I have frequented in London. Is there anything else you could ask for?

Working in Soho can be tough, particularly lunch-wise. The centre of town means everything is expensive, crowded, or both. Also, scavengering for anything close to proper Thai food in the Piccadilly circus area has proven to be a challenge I didn't sign up for.

Enter West Thai Cafe - 5.95 for a gratifying lunchbox consisting of either rice or noodles plus 2 toppings! The toppings include your favorites which are fresh, tasty and spiced correctly. Along with being cheap and cheerful it's super quick and actually flavoursome. All those things are difficult to balance.

It's a great deal given that a half-decent pret baguette plus crisps will easily set you back 6 quid.It's a steal in city central and I'm surprised the queue isn't out the door. A bit fearful that now it might be...
